I don't want to fail to mention the food that is growing in the yard. Squash, zucchini, tomatoes, basil, lemon herbs, oranges. Chris does not eat meat anymore, and the vegetables feed them during summer and winter. The warm climate makes this easier than here in New York. It was a heavenly garden to visit. We stayed too long with the long flight and the need to rest, Sara's surgery, and the cost.?
My grandson gave me such a wonderful tour of this garden. He has grown from the little boy I fell in love with as an infant to a 17 year old who was so good and helpful to Bill and me on this visit. Thanks Caleb!
I can't thank these three enough for a well needed vacation. I could fill the blog with photos of their garden, but with Sara's knowledge of horticulture and now Chris's interest and skill, and Caleb's help, they keep this home garden a peaceful karma spot to heal.
